Ceritinib, generic Zykadia is a prescription medicine used to treat anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) for which patients who are unable to tolerate or have progressed on prior crizotinib therapy.
ZYKADIA is a kinase inhibitor used to treat adults with
metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that have a mutation resulting in mesenchymal
epithelial transition (MET) exon 14 skipping as confirmed by a test approved by the FDA.

Dosage:

Ceritinib has to take 450 mg orally once daily with food.
*First dose reduction: 300 mg qDay
*Second dose reduction: 150 mg qDay
*Unable to tolerate 150 mg/ day: Discontinue.
To help you remember, use it at the same time every day.
Do not take more or use this drug more often or for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not get better any faster, and your chance of serious side effects will increase.
If you throw up after taking a dose, do not take another dose at that time.
